Peanuts for me have always been favoured when they were smashed up and mixed into peanut butter, perfect for spreading on my toast in the morning.
However, it turns out, they can be made into a pretty tasty brittle.
You’ve probably heard of Fudge Kitchen before, they’re an award-winning brand who create tasty treats in beautiful packaging, hand making small batches of delicious fudge.
They’ve now branched out into making brittles, along with lots of other products they’re all made using natural ingredients – which are also gluten-free (bonus!) – with caramel being hand stretched for the perfect snap.
When this was delivered, I had to admit, I almost didn’t want to eat it, but rather gift it. The packaging is clean and gives the product a more luxurious feel to it.
Fudge Kitchen talks a lot about hand stretching their caramel for the perfect snap. I didn’t find the snap perfectly clean, but it did snap well – some pieces were already a bit small, so just ate them whole – the caramel coated whole salty peanuts, giving you the perfect combination of sweet and salty.
For me, this was delicious, you couldn’t have much of it due to the nature of the product being quite rich. However, it did taste great and I could imagine buying a few more to gift around.
