Introducing…I Prefer Travelling

If you’ve been following this blog over the last few years, you’ll have noticed that a few travel-related posts have appeared from time-to-time. Well, some of those posts have now disappeared, due to the arrival of I Prefer Travelling!

I Prefer Travelling is the brand new travel website, set up by myself and my travelling companion W G Sancroft. It showcases some of the beautiful places we’ve explored, including some highs and lows of travelling.

Why am I telling you this now?

This week something big happened. I handed in my one month notice at work, and decided to be completely reckless and leave the adulting life behind to go travelling.

After spending a year in Belgium, I realised there really is so much more out there which I wanted to see – yes I realise how pretentious that sounds – but it’s true. There is a big wide world out there (I will stop with the cliches soon I promise) which I want to explore.

So, W G Sancroft and I booked a one-way ticket to Australia, via Singapore and New Zealand.

The plan?

Fly to Singapore on October 23rd, stay there for a few days then off to New Zealand for 2 months before spending Christmas in sunny Australia.

Australia is a huge country, so to fully experience it, we will be there for a year – if not more – on a work visa.

This is where I Prefer Travelling comes in.

Everything we do, planning, experiencing and organizing will be documented on the new site. Don’t worry, you can still pop here for all your food needs, but if it’s wanderlust you’re after, then check out the other site.

What next

Who knows! But I cannot wait to find out. Be sure to follow along on YouTube and Instagram to see what we get up to.
