Saturday Review: Thai Taste

After my experience in Thailand I truly fell in love with pad thai, it’s one of my favourite dinners to make as it’s so easy to put together and is filled with flavour.

So when Thai Taste got in touch with me to say they had some products for my to try out I was incredibly excited. A few days later, I got a small parcel which included a sweet chilli sauce and pad thai kit.

Sweet Chilli Dipping Sauce – Nam Jim Kai, 200ml, £1.30 available to buy at Sainsbury’s

This sauce was a great way to enhance my basic noodle dishes. Whilst I didn’t combine it with the pad thai kit I did enjoy it with separate dishes. I found this wasn’t an incredibly spicy sauce but it did sweetie up the noodles.

Pad thai kit, 1 pack, £2.50 available to buy at Tesco

This was my favourite thing to test out, there was a handy recipe on the side on the packet which I followed step by step to create my dinner. Inside the pack: rice boodles, pad thai sauce and peanut mix.

The rice noodles cooked quickly which meant that I didn’t have to wait too long for my meal to be ready. The sauce tasted great but I did find their wasn’t enough of it which meant I had to add my own soy sauce.

The peanut mix topping gave an extra crunch to the dish and the chilli bits helped add an extra element of spice.
