So a few weeks ago I had the pleasure of winning a competition with Tree Vitalise and as my reward, had three tasty water bottles sent straight to my door.
The first thing that struck me about these bottles was the fact that they were glass, unlike most water bottles I pick up, these were in a lovely plain bottle so ideal to re-use.
The second thing I noticed was the choice of flavours ‘Original’, ‘Mint’ and ‘Lemon’. Having never drunk tree water before, I wasn’t quite sure what to make of them, however, I did give them all a try, sampling as per the suggestion ‘nice and cold’.
Never have I ever drunk water which tasted of yogurt. While this may seem hard to believe, the water had a very sweet taste resembling yogurt – I had three other people try it just to make sure it wasn’t me. However, this doesn’t mean it tasted bad, if anything I wanted more!
After having the unusual experience of drinking water that tasted like yogurt I was incredible intrigued by what the lemon water would taste like. But if anything I was slightly disappointed because it tasted like lemon water. However, it was incredibly tasty lemon water, the flavour was very present and gave me a refreshing mid morning drink, perfect when you’re sat at a laptop inside on a hot summer day.
This had to be my least favourite flavour I’m afraid. It taste incredibly sweet considering it was mint and didn’t have that fresh smell I was hoping for. I think due to the nature of the water being from a different source it perhaps didn’t mesh well with the added flavourings.
