It’s not just ‘a Chinese’ any more – we are getting so much more adventurous with our forays into Asian cooking. And as it’s becoming so much more cheap and easy to make great Asian dishes, it’s not a surprise. Add in a slow cooking process, and you’ve got yourself a delicious and cheap meal -plus your house will turn from a student-infested stench to the savoury odours of Asia.
All you need is
- 3 tbs Dark Soy Sauce
- 3 tbs Tomato Ketchup
- 2 tbs Honey
- 1/2 tbs Italian Herbs
- 1/2 tbs Sesame Seeds
- 1/2 tbs Chopped garlic
- 1 Chicken breast
To make it just
- Chop up the chicken and place in a casserole dish or slow cooker.
- Add the ketchup, soy sauce, honey, garlic, mixed herbs and sesame seeds to the dish and mix up well.
- Place the dish in the oven on a very low heat for 4 hours, stirring occasionally, if you find the sauce starts to thicken a lot then add some water.
- To serve place on a bed of egg noodles (follow instructions on the pack) and enjoy!
